Steak, Slaw & Honey Mustard Sliders
The perfect mouthful of tender steak and coleslaw in a couple of bites, this ultra tasty version of the classic slider is like summer in your hand.
- Beef tenderloin (filet)
- Slider buns of choice
Cut your tenderloin in ½ to 1-inch medallions (choose the thickness you desire) and grill to your liking. (I like mine medium.) Remember to season well.
- 1 cup of grated carrot
- 1 cup of finely chopped cabbage
- ½ cup of finely cut white onion
- 1/3 cup of red wine vinegar
- 2/3 cup of olive oil
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
Combine vinegar, olive oil, honey and Dijon. Drizzle and toss over coleslaw to taste. Store-bought honey mustard works work fine, or add equal parts honey to Dijon mustard.
To serve: Lightly toast your buns, slather honey mustard on bun, top with tenderloin and coleslaw.
