David Copperfield Buys New Digs
Illusionist David Copperfield is now the proud owner of a very cool and expensive mansion in the ‘city of lights.’
Copperfield, 59, has paid US$17.55 million for an eight-bedroom estate in the Summerlin neighbourhood, an upscale gated community in Las Vegas.
According to the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors, this is the highest price anyone has paid for a home in the area.
The four-storey mansion houses a movie theatre and a night club, complete with a dance floor and bar area. His new digs also include a gym, a roof deck, a large wine cellar and an underground garage.
The 1.5-acre property is loaded with even more goodies, including an infinity swimming pool, guest rooms and a high-tech-cutting-edge golf simulator.
For Copperfield the purchase is a smart move as he now doesn’t have far to travel to work. He currently holds residency at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino David Copperfield Theatre, which is only short distance from his new digs.
The world’s most successful magician also owns a penthouse in Manhattan and a home in the Bahamas.
