Snapchat Fun!

The latest and snappiest entry into the world of VR and wearable technology comes from Snapchat, who earlier this fall launched digital eyewear that functions as a Google Glass/GoPro hybrid. In other words, the spectacles are video camera glasses that can record up to 10 seconds of video straight to the Snapchat app. They will connect via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, shoot with a wide 115-degree, first-person view and take circular videos. Naked news

Nothing like a selfie to motivate you to dive into your fitness routine, but the scale still tells all. Now there’s a high-tech solution that combines the two: The Naked 3D Fitness Tracker. Using Intel RealSense 3D Depth Sensors and a turntable scale, the tracker creates a custom 3D model of your body and measures your body fat percentage along with your weight. As you progress, the companion app shows you a map of your body, highlighted to show exactly where you're adding muscle or losing fat. Ships March 2017. US$699, naked.fit

Curved comfort

From the award-winning design studio of Victor Aleman comes Loopita, a chaise longue designed as a great place to have a conversation or relax with a good book. The designer’s intent was to create a fab piece of furniture that was also a sculptural work of art that people would respond to emotionally. Loopita is built using a hybrid technique called digital craftsmanship, where modern machining processes come together with handwork by experienced artisans, resulting in a digitally created object with a human touch.
